Hawatthia “Hi” Jones has a love for preaching, mission and travel. He is a full-time missionary in Guatemala, Central America where he is presently serving with Byron and Snezana Benitez and their boys, Jose and Alex. Hawatthia and Byron has been in Guatemala for more than 23 years. He serves on staff with Instituto Teologico Latinoamericano (ITL), an extension school of Bear Valley. Hi was born in South Dakota and raised in the Tennessee in a Christian home. He is a graduate of Bear Valley Bible Institute and Southern Christian University and has studied in various other schools of higher learning. Because of his heart for missions and preaching, and with the help of a tour with the United States Air Force, Hi has been blessed to travel to more than 35 countries.
