JJ Davenport grew up in Cocoa, FL and moved to Alabama with her husband Larry. She received her BA in Biblical Studies from Heritage Christian University and her MA in Education from Western Governors University. She is currently pursuing another Masters degree as a Biblical Studies Major with History of Biblical Interpretation and Theology Minor.

She has spoken at ladies’ days and retreats throughout the Southeast and Europe and is the host for a Podcast called “Equipped” currently serving more than 3800 subscribers. JJ works at Mars Hill Bible School in Florence, AL where she is Dean of Arts, teaches elementary music and directs the middle and high school choirs as well as the Nationally acclaimed Celebration Show Choir.  JJ started a women’s conference called TLC (Transform Ladies Conference) 4 years ago and is excited about the growth and the way God is using this platform.
